First Time Renting Equipment? A Simple Checklist
Renting equipment for the first time is straightforward once you know what to expect. This checklist walks you through the whole process so there are no surprises.
Before you reserve
Know your project dates, and add a buffer day if the job depends on weather. Check the minimum rental period on the equipment page — some machines have a multi-day minimum. Measure site access (gates, slopes, overhead lines) so we can confirm the machine will fit.
When you book
Reserve online with your start and end dates, or call us. You'll get a confirmation within 24 hours. No payment is due at booking — we collect payment when the reservation is confirmed.
Pickup or delivery day
If you're picking up, bring a vehicle and trailer rated for the machine's weight, plus tie-downs. If we're delivering, make sure the drop area is clear and accessible. Either way, walk around the machine with us, note any existing wear, and ask questions about controls before it leaves.
During and after the rental
Check fluid levels daily on multi-day rentals and call us immediately if something seems off — small issues are easy fixes, big ones aren't. Return the machine clean and refueled to avoid extra charges, and let us know if you need to extend the rental before the end date.
Ready to rent?
Browse our equipment and reserve online in minutes, or call (385) 221-8280 and we'll help you pick the right machine.
